Basketball is one of my most favourite sports in the world!
I am not that good but still like playing.
My favourite NBA stars are Stephen Curry&Lebron James.

Lebron Raymone James was  born December 30, 1984)  he is an American professional basketball player for the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Tennis Trip

On Friday 7th April 2017, our yr 6 syndicate was invited to watch a international tennis match at the ASB Tennis Arena.

While we were waiting ,other primary schools started to arrive. We were given these inflatable sticks for free from the employees that organised our trip. We were watching players practising tennis, it said New Zealand and Korea on each shirt which means we are watching NZ vs Korea play tennis. Guess what happened the started starting pouring it's tears again! " I think we are just going to watch the rain, instead of a live tennis game." I said in a annoying voice.

Finally when the rain stopped, men started to sweep away the water away from the court. When they started playing, Korea was in the lead. I was too busy focusing on the scores.  So far Korea was winning by 30 points. To be honest it was actually starting to get really boring. Finally NZ scored a  point .( crowd roaring with excitement) I was just starting to enjoy it when... " Pack your gear" 
Teachers shouting. On our way back to school, I was just chatting to friends and laughing. 

Finally at school my classmates were just chatting, Miss Pesaleli dismissed us because it was home time 

 

Nike

Nike is my favourite brand because it has cool and stylish type of shoes.

.Nike has won 2 Emmy awards for it's commercials, in 2000 and 2002.

Weather Description

The wind sweeping houses off the land.Whoosh!
Clonk Clink!Hail knocking on your window while you are sleeping.
If you look out your window,you can see lightning dancing across the night sky.
Families after families losing homes,because of the furious floods drifting away broken homes.
Cyclones travelling to each country,causing major problems.
Cars sinking to the bottom of the ground while the rain is filled with tears.Drip Drop!


I could hear the tree branches brustling along the walls,so I flicked the light on and.. there was no light!
The ugly,horrible weather ruined the power!
The wind starts to growl, knocking trees of their feet.
People hearing sirens on the roads.
Thunder rumbling with rage.
The thunder goes to each neighbor hood, waking families up annoyingly.


The next day ... ugly weather continues!

Cricket Tournament

      Cricket Tournament 2017

On Wednesday 15th of March, I participated the Cricket tournament at the Papatoetoe Recreation centre. On our way there,my brain was full of thoughts,like are we going to win?,what if I stuff up,?But I just started to calm down and think about just having fun with my team . When we arrived, we were strolling around the area looking for the boys team,suddenly someone came to and that someone was.. THE ONLY...MISS PESALELI!

She showed us where our tent was,and off the girls went to our first game.

We were playing up against the Readoubt north girls cricket team.We did well but we lost by 1 point. SO CLOSE! Next round, we were up against

St Johns girls team. We lost again. Our team was all thinking we would lose our 3rd round,but.. We Won!!!! After all our games, we had lunch,the boys were telling us that they had won all their games accept the final round.

At prize giving , I was feeling disappointed because I thought our girls team would come last,but..  WE CAME 2nd! Woohoo! And also the boys placed 2nd as well. Our coaches were shocked and proud of both teams.
